Red Berlin emerged as a result of an extensive creative evolution of the four Kyiv-based musicians, Alex Belous, Olexander Konotopets, Serhiy Nahornyuk, and Oleksiy Plaksiuk, along with their long-time producer Vladyslav Chekhovich (DJ Lutique).

The band roots back to Kyiv's Brit-Pop community (of around early 2000's), when their original band Drugies was founded. Its logical development shaped up in a pop project titled Sheens, more widely known across Europe than on the Ukrainian scene. In June 2013, the band saw a breakthrough in British and German TOP-10 charts with their entry 'Hey You.'

In March 2017, Red Berlin presented its maxi single 'Ever Never,' including both the original and acoustic versions, along with DJ Lutique's Sipping Wine Remix.
